Choosing Watch Strap and Timex Resin Strap Watch Review
By : Helson Su

Watch Straps
Looking for watch strap, it is easy to find where it is sold, but it is not easy to consider which one is suit for us. Here some questions for you in choosing the right one.
What strap will suit you?
Activities: Ask yourself, are you an active/sporty person, sweat a lot, need a flexible and tough watch band or do you need a watch which will complement your outfit?
How you use your swatch watch will determine what type of watch strap you should buy. Do not just buy straps based on the design and color but consider what, when and how you use your watch will be a crucial point in making that choice.
What strap suit your watch?
This sounds like a silly question but it’s really very important that your sporty watch don’t get match with an elegant strap while your loud, color Swatch gets paired with a plain old leather strap.
Shall I buy the same strap I had been wearing before?
Yes, should you? You may go for this option almost immediately because it just seems right and logical to buy back the original strap (if you can find them) as it suits your watch well. But you may prefer variety. Time for a change! Another good reason for buying back the same strap is value. Consider someday you may want to sell off the Swatch watch. Do you know that having the original/same type of straps makes the value of your watch go up higher especially for potential collectors?
How many types of Swatch Watch Straps/Bands are there?
Basically, most of us think that there are three types of Swatch straps:plactics, leather, metal.
Let’s take an example of one tiny section labeled under Standard Gents.
Under this category you find ’standard’ plastic straps
- ’standard’ leather straps
- flex straps (elastic, metal straps. Comes in many colors and 2 sizes)
- flip lock strap (usually made of metal. Used mainly with Swatch Irony watches)
- elastic pop straps (only used for pop swatches)
- other straps
Hope these questions can find out what watch strap is suit for you. Here I review one product for you.

Sport Timex Watch

Timex Ironman Watch
The Timex watch has been a staple wrist watch here in the United States since 1950; in fact, although Timex watches are marketed worldwide its greatest market base is in the United States and Canada. There are many types of timex watch, from casual watch, luxury watch until the sport one. The famous one from sport timex watch is Timex Ironman. This is sport utility watch, and has much function, and the Timex Ironman has gone from strength to strength and has become one of the most popular sports watches amongst athletes and recreational runners alike.
Here are five reasons I think every athlete should consider the famous sports watch, when they purchase their next watch:
1. 100 hour Chronograph
From the very original watch, the stopwatch has supported 100 hours. 100 hours is probably overkill for most of us, yet it’s reassuring to know the watch has the capacity to see us through all, but the most prolonged endurance event.
2. Multiple Laps
Since the days of the original watch, Timex Ironman Watches have had the capacity to store multiple laps, 8 in the original watch. The Timex DataLink watches can store an impressive 200 laps. Every athlete who logs their repetition training sessions should have a watch that can record multiple laps in their session and in this department, the Timex Ironman watches deliver.
3. INDIGLO Illumination
In a perfect world, we would all train in daylight. Timex watch came up with an illumination systems that left other sports watches for dead. It was called INDIGLO. INDIGLO uses patented Timex technology to light up the digits in a striking fluorescent green at a fraction of the battery consumption compared to other sports watches.
4. INDIGLO Night-Mode
INDIGLO night mode was engineered after the INDIGLO night life received a resounding reception from the endurance community. Night mode is an ingenious system that can be switched on in low light conditions to activate INDIGLO at the press of any button on the watch. This removes the need to memorize which button to press, or fumble around in the dark.
5. Water Resistance
Your Timex Ironman watch is guaranteed to be water resistant. That means you can take it with you swimming or even in the bath if you are so inclined. The depth of the water resistance usually varies between 50 and 100 meters between Ironman models. If you are considering some serious diving activities you might want to look for a diving watch like the Timex Expedition. Otherwise you can rest assured that your Timex watch can handle a little dunk in the water.
